Javier is a stage creator, actor, director and singer, born in 1990 in Valencia, Spain.
His practice navigates between tradition and contemporary artistic expression. Javier's artistic vision is deeply rooted in his “bastard” identity, an ever-changing mix of disciplines, cultures and creative strategies. For him, this identity is not a limitation, but a strength, embracing the fluidity of artistic boundaries and the potential for unexpected discoveries. Through collaboration, cross-cultural exploration, and a constant search for the unknown, Javier creates transdisciplinary pieces that foster transdisciplinary pieces that encourage the transformation of both performer and audience in the search for something wild, unpredictable and liberating.
He is currently working with Song of the Goat Theatre in the creation of the new performance ELEUSIS.
Javier is Assistant Director of the play FARRA, by Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico / Lucas Escobedo. FARRA has been nominated for 3 MAX AWARDS and is a finalist for Best Musical or Lyric Show.
In 2024 he directed and acted in NOBODY SLEEPS, a performance that won the Creation, Research and Thought Award of the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona.
After graduating in 2010 from the International Laboratory of the Actor in Movement in Valencia, he moved to Barcelona to complete a degree in Physical Theater at the Institut del Teatre (2015). From 2010 to 2016 he worked as a performer, co-director and singer in numerous productions with directors and choreographers such as Ximo Flores, Matej Matejka, Lluis Graells, Jordi Basora, Pedro Galiza, Amalia Fernández, Eulàlia Bergadà and Andrés Corchero (National Dance Award of Catalonia 2003). He also collaborated as an actor with the company Obskené and with the physical theater MOVEO in “Tu vas Tomber” (Audience Award at the International Dance Festival of Huesca 2016, as well as Emerging Artist Award - Imaginarius Festival of Portugal), directed by Stéphane Lévy.
His artistic research has led him to continue his training with specialists in theater, dance and singing such as LosCorderos.sc, Gey Pin Ang, Milòn Mela, Pere Sais, Teatr ZAR, Natalka Polovynka, Matej Matejka, Carlota Subirós, Alejandro Tomás Rodríguez and

He performed with the Workcenter in Europe and Latin America as an actor and singer in SIN FRONTERAS, THE UNDERGROUND and SONGS OF TRADITION.
