Franco-Spanish nationality, Esther d’Andrea begins her professional career as an actress in the Theatre Company Espada de Madera under the direction of Antonio Díaz-Florián, while also studying English Philology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and at Royal Holloway University of London.
She later graduates from the School of Physical Theatre of Mª del Mar Navarro and Andrés Hernández, and attends workshops with Alfredo Sanzol, Paco Montes, Augusto Fernandes, Alberto Conejero, José Pedro Carrión, and in English language Modern Theatre at Karpas Teatro, Shakespeare sin Subtítulos at Marsillach Acting Academy, and a Shakespeare workshop at La Escuela Británica del Actor.
She trains as a soprano with the teachers Laura Muñoz, MªJosé Santos de Dios, Natalia Calderón, and Connie Philps.
She collaborates in the creation of the performance space Kubik Fabrik and participates in the productions Metro Cúbico, El Gran Atasco, Büro, and Cazadores de thé. She is the playwright and lyricist of the puppet musical Los Viajes de Mayaand Gallardo for Kubik Fabrik Producciones.
She works on the opening performances at the Teatro Circo Price, Navidades en el Price and Charivari, in 2006.
Alongside Román&Cía (aka Muñecos Animados), she trains as a puppeteer for television. Since 2005, she has participated in productions for TVE, Telemadrid, Playhouse Disney, Canal 9, and advertising. With TheRootPuppets for Globomedia, the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands, and advertising. Bambú Producciones (series La Embajada), Aprendemos Juntos KIDS with BBVA, Sexo Famosos and Muñecos de Trapo with Atresmedia, Gomaespumafor Ecoembes, mascots for the University of Alcalá de Henares, the film Abracadabra by Pablo Berger, Fight Films, the Wunda spot, Nestlé, the Ariel Pods spot, the film Awareness by Daniel Benmayor. With COMA14 in the documentary La Voz Quebrada by Manuel Menchón. In theatre, she has worked with La Société de la Mouffette, Teatro de la Zarzuela, Kubik Fabrik Producciones, La Mente en Blanco, Tropos Teatro, LaFauna Teatro, Cachivache Producciones, Compañía Lucas Escobedo, Cazando Gamusinos, El Cuarto Azul, COMA14, Solytierra, La Tartana, and La Pájara Pinta.
