Irene Coloma Priego (Alicante, 1991)
She is an actress, aerial acrobat, and Art Historian. Her professional career as an actress began in 2013, and she has since worked with various theatre companies, performing contemporary and classical plays, and has also worked in the audiovisual field.
Her most recent work as an actress includes the theatre productions El Pecado mortal de Madame Campoamor with Mario Hernández, Hamlet with Darío Facal, and Todas las noches de un hombre dormido with Antonio Lafuente. She has also worked as assistant director to Lola Blasco on La Armonía del Silencio, scheduled at the Teatro Español in Madrid.
At the same time, she has been a member of the jury at three theatre competitions in Alicante; worked as a theatre teacher in an international cultural exchange project; and has voiced various commercials and promotional videos. With Retrato en Rojo, one of her first works, she received five awards for Best Lead Actress in different competitions.
As an acrobat, she has specialized since 2011 in aerial silks, hoop, and pole dance. She has performed as an aerial acrobat for a music video and has also been an aerial acrobatics teacher at various schools, from 2017 to the present.
Her training took place at several schools in Madrid, Barcelona, and Alicante, having studied at various acting and acrobatics schools. She has trained in physical theatre and textual theatre at Work In Progress (Madrid) and Escuela Berty Tovías (Barcelona), and has participated in numerous acting and dubbing workshops since 2005 with John Strasberg, Àlex Rigola, Ana Sala, Abril Zamora, Chema Lara, Javier Luna, and others.
