"You have to know how to say goodbye in order to say hello." This is one of the starting points of this show. In a time when humanity is immersed in a pandemic, these two terms have become more significant than ever in our lives. The "hello" and "goodbye" we used to say to the neighbor, the building janitor, or the bus driver vanished for a while and took on a new meaning.
There are many kinds of farewells: from the one said by someone leaving the city for university, to retirement, or a bachelorette party. Or the exercise I can no longer do because of my age, or the singer bidding farewell on their final tour. Lucas and the other artists involved in this production will explore this concept through music, humor, and circus.
Shhh! We are eagerly looking forward to seeing this new work by Lucas Escobedo, the Alicante-born artist who makes us dream with every one of his proposals—so magical, so heartfelt, so true.
