Coproduction Compañía Lucas Escobedo - Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico

The show

Celebration, festivity, culture, and community come together during Carnival time in Madrid, whether in 1568, 1668, or 2024. During Carnival, anything is possible, the rules change, and the world is governed by paradoxes. The baroque revelry, the party, opens the door to music, madness, magic, and acrobatics among pageants, dances, and merriment. And like any subversion, the goal is to highlight the madness of both the past and the present, stirring consciences and celebrating our gathering.
